Delta Coast Consultants is a professional consulting engineering firm located in Houma, Louisiana. Our firm specializes in the planning, design, and management of projects relating to flood protection, municipal infrastructure, coastal restoration, and marine construction. Our primary services include the preparation of engineering plans and specifications, regulatory permitting, mapping, land and right-of-way acquisition, surveying, planning, and information technology.

Delta Coast was officially opened in February of 2014 by two local professional engineers. Mitchell J. Marmande and Barry J. Kennedy are the principal owners and managers of the firm, and are both licensed professional engineers and land surveyors in the State of Louisiana. Both managing principals have substantial experience in the development of flood protection systems and coastal restoration projects in Southeast Louisiana. Although the primary focus of the firm is consulting engineering and design for public sector clients, our services have already been of value to private sector clients as well.

In June of 2014, the Terrebonne Levee and Conservation District officially executed a contract with Delta Coast Consultants to serve as the Program Manager for the mulit-billion dollar Morganza to the Gulf - Hurricane Protection Project. Our staff is very proud and honored to participate in such an important project that will protect our community for generations to come. The Morganza to the Gulf Project is a prime example of the part we hope to play in the preservation and restoration of Coastal Louisiana.
